FRAUDE: México 2006


A movie of millions of mexicans. Directed by Luis Mandoki
Contra el Viento Films, producer of the movie directed by Luis Mandoki, sent the following message:

The movie “FRAUD: Mexico 2006”, of Luis Mandoki, about the electoral Mexican process of July 2006, will have the premiere the 15 of November in cinemas of the whole Mexican country.

After the distributor Warner Brothers was trying to censure Mandoki’s work, other companies approached to the producing house Contra el Viento Films to offer their services.

The process of negotiation was realized rapidly and there is a distribution agreement already.

The persons in charge of this cinematographic project the same as the new distributors, have held chats with the executives of the principal chains of exhibition that exists in Mexico, and it has come near to a clear commitment: the movie about the elections will be in billboard from next November 15.

Distributors and producers have decided to elaborate at least 200 copies Mandoki's movie, of such a form of which it could show in all the entities of the Mexican Republic and there is no date yet for the sale in DVD format.

It is necessary to emphasize that after the attempt of Warner Bros's censorship, thousands of Mexicans decided to realize economic contributions to the bank account of the producing company.

Every civil contribution has been important and fundamental to finish the movie.

El pelele informa……

Er hat es wirklich nicht leicht. Felipe de Jesus hätte gerne vor dem Kongress die Nation über sein Wirken informiert. Doch nach wochenlanden Diskussionen über das wie (lang oder kurz), und wo (von der Tribüne im Plenum aus, aus einem anderen Saal) muβte er einsehen, daβ er wohl nur als republikanischer Postbote fungieren wird. Bericht abgeben und weg. Das ärgert ihn natürlich, eine so gute Gelegenheit von seinen und seiner Regierung Wohltaten zu sprechen ergibt sich nunmahl nur einmal im Jahr.

Also entschloβen sich seine Parteifreunde den Akt in das Auditorio Nacional zu verlegen. Vor ausgesuchten (weil parteitreuen Gästen) sollte er ungestört sprechen. Einladungen wurden bereits versandt. Doch halt, zurück, das geht auch nicht. Ist ja schliesslich keine parteiinterne Versammlung so eine Rede zur Lage der Nation.

Wohin also? Bliebe noch der Nationalpalast, sozusagen das Ausweichquartiert. Dort soll es also über die Bühne gehen. Am Sonntag, den 2. September um 10.00 Uhr. Das ist nun hochoffiziell. Televisa überträgt den Akt live und landesweit. Zwischen der “Operation Talent” und “Achten Sie auf ihre Gesundheit” ist noch ein Plätzchen frei!

Im Internet sind bereits die Spots zu sehen. Virtuell steht der Präsident nicht schlecht dar. Reell gesehen ist das Durcheinander um sein ersten groβen Auftritt ein wahres Kasperltheater. Der Spruch , der von Lopez Obrador gerne verwendet wird, bewahrheitet sich einmal mehr: “Que sería del pelele sin la tele“.
